9

Let, a = number of red balls.

b= number of blue balls.

p 1 = probability of drawing two red balls

p 2 = probability of drawings two blue balls

p 3 = probability of drawing one red and one blue ball

Given that p 1 = 5p 2 and p 3 = 6p 2

a (a - 1) = 5b (b - 1) and 2ab = 6b (b - 1)

a = 6,b = 3 Total number of balls = 9
